Our Drop-In Clinics

Drop-In Clinics: Mon to Fri 10:00am to 4:00pm (10:00am to 11:30am Christmas Eve)

What is a Drop in Clinic?

The Drop in Clinics are held every day at the Council offices at the Grange in Ely and they are where our Housing Officers, Tenancy Support Officers and the Community Advice Service Officers will be able to advise you on your housing options, legal rights if you have any, as well as support you with all aspects of maintaining a tenancy and more.

Just come to the reception at the Grange (opposite the Police Station) in Ely between the above times and let one of the Customer Services Team know you are there for a drop in and you will be put into a first come, first served queue system and a member of the housing team will do their best to see you as soon as possible.

There are three types of Drop in Clinics:

  • Homelessness Drop in

If you think you are facing homelessness.

  • Tenancy Support Drop in

If you want help with a tenancy, resolving benefit issues, help to claim the right benefits for you (Housing, health and employment benefits), help with budgeting and much more.

  • Community Advice Drop in

If you need support with all sorts of issues, from consumer rights to employment disputes. As well as finding and signposting you to specialist agencies if you need them.

Please make sure you try and bring with you:

  • Proof of ID (Birth Certificate, Passport or Proof of settled Status etc.) for yourself and children if applicable

  • Any paperwork relating to your situation (letters from landlords, current tenancy agreement, eviction letter etc.)

We also have Community Hubs which are where we try and bring the same support and advice across the district.

We want to listen, we want to help
