Assisted Collections

Assisted collections are provided where householders are unable to carry their waste sacks or move their wheeled bins to the kerbside, due to infirmity, serious long-term illness or disability.

The service is only provided where no member of the household is able to move the waste and proof will be required in the form of a medical letter.

The waste and recycling crews will then collect your sacks or wheeled bins from an agreed collection point on your property, and return your bins once emptied.  The collection point must be visible from the roadside.

Once we have received a signed application form we will contact you to arrange a collection point and start date for your assisted collection.
