Ramblers Wellbeing Walks

It is almost impossible not to feel good when we are walking outdoors, it is a natural mood booster!

And, the great news is, we do not need to walk far or fast to feel its effects on our health and wellbeing Simply getting out is a tonic for our minds and bodies, and it can be sociable too.

Ramblers Wellbeing Walks make it easier to start walking and staying active, and you will never be short of good company!

Ely Country Park Walks Routes

A new Country Park walks leaflet is available on site at the new entranceway signs located in the park. The guides outline two circular trails around the site marked out by sculptures of bulrushes and kingfishers. The Bulrush Trail is 1.5 miles long while the Kingfisher Trail is 2 miles long.

Both trails pass by the River Ouse, Roswell Pits, the Hereward Way and include magnificent views of Ely Cathedral - sections of the walks are also located within an ecological and geological Site of Scientific Interest.
