Log in to use the Notification of Vehicle Arrivals (NOVA) Service 

Use the NOVA service to tell HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) you’ve brought a vehicle into the UK. You can use the service if: 

• you are not VAT-registered and you have imported a vehicle from the EU (external link) 

• you are a VAT-registered business (external link) that does not use the secure registration scheme (external link) 

Online services may be slow during busy times. Check if there are any problems with this service (external link). 

Before you Start 

To use this service you need a Government Gateway user ID and password. If you do not have a user ID, you can create one when you use the service. 

After you’ve made a NOVA vehicle arrival notification, you can see updates from HMRC in your secure communications area (external link).
