Dance classes, korfball and a climbing wall are just some of the activities planned for the East Cambridgeshire Health and Wellbeing Partnership's flagship Health and Happiness Day.

The event which will be held at Ely County Park on Sunday 25th September, will provide guidance and activities for residents to show how they can make positive impacts on their health.

Features of the day include a demonstration area, which will offer taster sessions such Yoga, Jazzercise and Korfball, a selection of healthy food and drink stalls as well as opportunities to find out more about your health and the facilities in the area.

Councillor Joshua Schumann, Chair of the East Cambridgeshire Health and Wellbeing Partnership said: "We are very excited for the first Health and Happiness Day on Sunday 25th September. This is an event which promotes all of the aims of the partnership and provides residents with an opportunity to speak to a range of health and wellbeing providers directly. The variety of activities and stalls on the day means that there is something for everyone, so I would encourage visitors to bring all the family for a great day out."

The day will begin at 11am and close at 3pm, with activities taking place throughout the day. If you have any enquiries please email healthandhappinessday@eastcambs.gov.uk or call: 01353 665555 and ask to speak to a member of the Health and Happiness Day team.
