The Business Permit scheme is open to businesses based in Ely registered for business rates, who require access to the long stay car parks prior to 08:30 am avoiding early morning parking restrictions.
The Business Permit Scheme 2024/25 commences 1 April 2024 and expires 31 March 2025.
You can apply to renew an existing permit or purchase a new permit using the link below or download an application form and send it to Customer Services, The Grange, Nutholt Lane, Ely, Cambs, CB7 4EE with the appropriate fee.
Ely’s city centre can easily be reached via the A10 Cambridge to King’s Lynn and by following the brown visitors signs upon reaching your destination. We encourage coach drivers to use the Drop-off/Pick up point either in front of Ely Tourist Information Centre (Oliver Cromwell's House, St Mary's Street CB7 4HF) in front of the Cathedral (The Gallery CB7 4DH) or at Barton Road Car Park (Barton Road CB7 4HZ). Please be aware that these bays are limited to a 15 minute stay.
