Face-to-Face Appointments at the Council

Limited face-to-face appointments are available for enquiries, meetings and training that cannot be completed by phone, email or virtual call.

These appointments will only be for extenuating circumstances and currently relate only to:

  • EU Settlement Scheme interviews
  • Meetings regarding homlessness (which cannot be completed using phone, email or virtual call)
  • Training for taxi drivers
  • Essential appointments with a member of customer services
  • Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE) interviews

Your appointment must be pre-booked:

All appointments will take place at the Council Offices in Ely.

Customers will be required to wait outside for their appointment as no internal waiting areas are available, and only one customer will be allowed into the building for the appointment, unless the customer is vulnerable or exceptional circumstances apply.

Customer details will be recorded and held for 21 days in accordance with the NHS Test and Trace process.

A number of Covid-19 safety measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of visitors and staff, and customers will be required to adhere to our customer safety guidance.

Please do not visit without an appointment. The restrictions are in place to keep everyone safe.
