The council are consulting on its draft Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018-2021 and want to hear from you.
The council’s first Health and Wellbeing strategy was introduced in 2015. The strategy and associated action plan highlighted how the council in its day to day business contributed to healthier outcomes for residents and people who work and visit the district.
The strategy needed to be refreshed. As a result of an officer workshop and members seminar where the health profile for East Cambridgeshire was presented it was suggested that the revised strategy should concentrate on two priorities
- Physical activity and healthy lifestyles
- Partnership working
Please send any comments to Health.Strategy@eastcambs.gov.uk by Friday 1st June.
The outcome of the consultation will be reported to Regulatory Service Committee later in the year.
