Missed collections must be reported by the end of the next working day and will be collected within 24 hours.

Missed replacement bags i.e Black and Brown sacks, must be reported by the end of the next working day and will be replaced within 2 working days

Householders are entitled to one black refuse sack per week.  Brown bags will be replaced like for like by Veolia, up to a maximum of 4 per household.  e.g. if you leave out 4 bags, then 4 will be left.  If you leave out 6 bags, only 4 will be left.  Additional brown bags can be purchased from these outlets.

Black boxes are currently limited to one per property.  Additional materials can be placed in carrier bags and left on top of or next to the box.  Please keep paper, glass and cans in separate bags.

If your box has been stolen or damaged please complete this online form.  A replacement box should be delivered within 5 working days of your report.  If you have a damaged box, please leave it out for Veolia to collect when they deliver the replacement box.

If you find a dead animal in the street or on any other public land, please contact us and we will remove the animal as quickly as we can.

The Council is not responsible for dead animals on private land.

The Council is responsible for the removal of drug related items found in a public place during normal office hours.  If you have found drug related items, please contact customer services on 01353 665555 or complete this online form.  Do not touch the items or place them in a bin or toilet.

If you have discovered drug related items in a public place outside of normal office hours please contact the police on 0845 4564564.
