What is the new bin for?
The 240 litre brown lidded bin is for residents who want extra capacity to use for garden waste only.

How do I get the extra bin?

What is the fee and how do I pay?

The annual licence fee is £48 per annum, pro rata.
Once you have applied, delivery can be expected within 10 working days.

How do I get the licence?
Initially, the licence will be attached to the bin.  For subsequent licences a renewal reminder will be sent  a few weeks prior to 1st April and on receipt of payment a new licence will be issued.  If you choose not to renew the licence, the bin will be removed.

When will my bin be emptied?
Your bin will be emptied at the same time as your green lidded bin until the licence expires.  Only bins displaying the current licence sticker will be emptied.

When will my first collection be?
Your first collection will be the same as your next green lidded bin collection date after your bin has been delivered.  The scheme commenced on the 1st April 2014.

What if my collection is missed?
Missed Collections can be reported by telephoning Customer Services on 01353 665555 or by completing the online form below. The missed collection must be reported by the end of the next working day.

Can I have more than 1 extra bin?
Initially, each household will be restricted to one bin owing to stock levels.  However, please advise the Customer Services Advisor if you require more than one.  No discounts are available for multiple bins.

Will extra blue bins be available?
Additional blue bins are now available for a one off delivery charge.
