The Littleport Town Team is welcoming visitors and residents to the town centre this Saturday (6 December) to help them prepare and celebrate Christmas.

There will be a number of activities taking place and things people can do to join in the festive spirit. These include:

  • Visit Father Christmas in Littleport library from 10am to 1pm
  • Spot the ‘Stars’ in shop windows – collect the trail from The Other Shop at 15 Main Street
  • View the creative tree displays in St George’s Church
  • Pick up some festive gifts at the Heritage Centre’s Victorian Christmas Fayre
  • Look out for Festival Food Deals in some of Littleport’s restaurants, pubs and cafes
  • Join in with local choirs who will be performing carols and Christmas songs in various locations across the town
David Ambrose-Smith, Chairman of the Littleport Town Team, said: “Christmas is a wonderful time of year as we prepare to see family, friends and loved ones on the special day. For many, the build up to Christmas is just as exciting as the day itself – this is why the Littleport Town Team has worked incredibly hard to put together a fantastically festive line up for this Saturday. From a visit from Father Christmas to carol singing and a wonderful Fayre, we hope to have something for everyone. So come along to Littleport this Saturday and feel the spirit of Christmas bring a smile to your face.”

The newly formed, Littleport Town Team consists of local businesses and traders and representatives from the District and Parish Councils whose purpose is to revitalise the Town Centre.
