We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Principal HR Officer to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, for a fixed term period of ten months to provide cover for maternity leave within our small HR team.
As a CIPD qualified professional, you will be required to demonstrate extensive experience and a successful track record from operating in a generalist HR environment (preferably within the public sector), providing professional HR advice and support to managers, staff and Elected Members, developing and implementing new policies and procedures, and preparing and presenting reports to a range of audiences. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing staff and successfully achieving service targets and objectives.
You will possess strong interpersonal skills and will be able to communicate clearly and logically verbally and in writing. You will also be well organised and able to meet deadlines.
