East Cambridgeshire Library Learning Centres

East Cambridgeshire has two learning centres at Ely and Littleport. Facilities exist for learners of all abilities and they can offer a wide range of courses including IT courses, which lead to nationally recognised qualifications such as ECDL or CLAIT. The Library Learning Centres are also recognised Learndirect Centres and learners can enrol for one of the many Learndirect courses.

Tutors are on hand to offer help and guidance with your learning programme and Centres also have qualified staff that can adjudicate CLAIT and ECDL examinations.

The computers at Learning Centres have the full range of Microsoft Office 2000 software with email and broadband Internet connections. There are also image scanning and colour printing facilities. A digital camera is also available on loan to local clubs and groups working on community projects. Details are available from the Learning Centre Coordinator.

Please note that charges apply for most services at the Library Learning Centres and customers are advised to check these costs in advance.

Learners are recommended to make appointments as availability of the services cannot be guaranteed.
