When are people allowed to have bonfires?

There is no by-law in this District that states when you can have a bonfire.

We advise people that they should not cause a smoke nuisance. This means being aware of the wind direction and likely effect on neighbours. You should only have a bonfire when absolutely necessary.

You should try and make full use of the civic amenity site at Witchford that takes green waste. Details of this facility can be found on the County Council’s website.
