Speaking at East Cambs Strategic Partnership Board Meetings

East Cambridgeshire Strategic Partnership (ECSP) Board meetings are held in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings as observers although during the discussion of matters that are described as confidential, may be asked to leave the room.

Questions about agenda items can be asked during a 15-minute public question time at the beginning of the meeting. However, the Chair may decide to respond to a question(s) under that section of the agenda, if this is more appropriate. Once your question has been asked, you are not allowed to join in the debate, so questions should be brief and to the point.

Simply write your question or statement on the paper provided before the meeting starts and put it in the question box. The Chairman of the meeting will check the Question Box once the meeting has started. If there are a number of questions in the box they will be selected randomly one at a time. The Chairman will invite the questioner (if present) to read out their question or statement. If the questioner is not present the Support Officer will read out the question.

If you have a question that you would like to submitt but are unable to attend the meeting, you can e-mail your question or statement in advance to the LSP Support Officer: melanie.wright@eastcambs.gov.uk or write to: LSP Support Officer, ECDC, The Grange, Ely, Cambs, CB7 4EE.

Do not forget to give your name and address so that written replies can be sent to you if your question or statement is not answered at the meeting or if you are unable to attend.
