Gambling Act 2005
STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES 2013
Every 3 years, the Licensing Authority is required to consult and publish a Statement of Principles relating to the carrying out of its functions under the Gambling Act 2005.
In accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and Gambling Commission Guidance to Local Authorities, East Cambridgeshire District Council reviewed its Statement of Principles relating to the Gambling Act 2005 to come into effect on 31 January 2013.
Public consultation on the revised Statement of Principles took place from 23 July 2012 to 14 October 2012.
The revised Statement of Principles was adopted by Full Council on 10 December 2012.

The Licensing Authority is currently consulting on a revision to the Gambling Act 2005 - Statement of Principles to have effect from 31 January 2016. The revisions can be found in the first section of the draft policy, and in the table below.
