A joint project has been launched from Cambridgeshire County Council Library Learning Services and Heritage Services, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund to enable 7 rural Cambridgeshire communities to build virtual collections of photographs, documents, film footage, text and oral history narratives and preserve them in a fully searchable, networked database that will provide a record on the Internet of the community's cultural heritage.
The 7 communities are Aldreth/Haddenham, Little Downham, Mepal, Pymoor, Wicken, Witcham and Denny Farmland Museum.
