Health & Safety

We are responsible for

• enforcing health and safety legislation in around 850 premises
• following up complaints about health and safety in workplaces
• investigating accidents
• Issuing and the enforcement of skin piercing legislation in around 20 premises.

We distribute a health & safety newsletter each year to businesses within the district and provide health and safety training.

The commercial team can advise on matter relating to health and safety at work and investigate problems at work where the legislation would apply. We also provide training on health and safety.
