*Definition of Description on a Nomination Paper
When a Candidate submits a Nomination Paper to stand for Election there is a box entitled 'Description' that can be completed. Nominees can use no more than six words which would easily identify them rather than associate them with a political party. They can use this if they stand with the support of a political party, use the word 'Independent' or leave the field blank.
