County Council Elections 2013

Results for the 2013 County Council elections will be posted on the County Council website as soon as they are available.

All the seats on Cambridgeshire County Council will be contested on 2 May 2013. This means that elections will take place across East Cambridgeshire, to elect your local county councillor. Look out for poll cards closer to the time.

Remember, in order to vote in these elections, you must appear on the register of electors. Applications to register for these elections must be returned to us before 17 April. If you are going to be away on 2 May then you still have time to send us your postal vote application. These must also be returned to us before 17 April. Registration and absent vote application forms can be downloaded from www.aboutmyvote.co.uk

Nominations to stand as a County Councillor will be accepted by the East Cambs Returning Officer between 25 March and before noon on 5 April 2013.  The East Cambs Electoral Services Team will be happy to provide more general advice and guidance on the procedures involved.
