he District Council is committed to reducing crime and disorder and to increasing community safety in East Cambridgeshire. The Council plays an active role in the East Cambridgeshire Community Safety Partnership, which was set up in 1998 to tackle crime in the district. This Partnership includes the Police, the County Council, the Primary Care Trust and the National Probation Service.
