Council Profile

11th May 2012

Dear Colleague

Despite the rather unseasonal weather we have been having recently - last weekend saw a number of fantastic events, which I was lucky enough to attend. First, there was Eel Day, which as always was a great event, and it was a real privilege to be part of the procession as we walked from the Cathedral through the city centre and down to Jubilee Gardens. There was so much going on from historical re-enactments to dancing displays as well as the chance to learn more about the humble eel - all in all a wonderful community day.
