Two storeys and attics, symmetrical three 'bays'. Saw-tooth eaves cornice. Three casement dormer windows with segmental shaped leaded roofs.

Three first floor, twelve-pane, near flush frame hung sash windows in segmental arches, reduced from original height.
Two similar windows flank six-panelled C19 door and moulded doorcase with projecting cornice supported by carved brackets.

Gable end room to west, of original three unit plan rebuilt in C18 and in mid C19. Clunch with modern tiled roof and local brick ridge stack to right hand; painted C19 brick and hipped slate roof. Early building one storey and attic; two gabled twelve-paned hung sash dormer windows, two half-glazed doors to right and left hand with three windows of varying sizes with glazing bars, two have late C18 panelled shutters. Two storey cross-wing with two side stacks.

One first floor twelve-paned recessed hung sash window and canted bay with hung sash windows and flat roof at ground
floor.

Interior has original double ovolo-moulded axial beams. Th Fox was first recorded as an ale house in 1764.

Farmhouse. Medieval, C16, C17 and C19. Original surviving medieval cross-wing and fragment of a larger building demolished c.1920 now forming the present north wing. South range possibly C17 and partly rebuilt in C19. Side stack added in C16. Timber-frame rendered and replaced with clunch. Thatched roofs. Two storeys. Elevations facing east: tall side stack in angle of two ranges of local brick plastered below eaves, C19 side stack to south gable, three first floor and two ground floor, modern, three- and four-light casement windows. Modern, glazed entrance door facing north. Interior has in north range substantial timbers arranged in squares, lap-jointed braces to wall plates with splayed joggled scarf joints. Re-used ceiling beams.

Cased in mid C19 red brick when service wing was added to north. Original stack rebuilt to create ground floor passageway. Plain tile roofs. Garden facade. Two storeys, five symmetrical 'bays'. Five first floor four-paned hung sash windows, and four garden casement windows. Late C18 raised and fielded six-panelled door.

Interior has fine C18 pine panelling originally from Arlington Street Piccadilly, and two pine chimney pieces from Chester Square London. The fine C18 open string staircase, may also be an import. Scenic wallpaper, Vues de l'Amerique du Nord' by Zuber, first issued c.1835 is of note. Some exposed chamfered ceiling beans.

Patterned courses of clunch with gault brick dressings. Stone coped parapet gables with slate roof and patterned ridge tiles. Central ridge stack, and stack to right hand. House to north, two storeys with closed gabled entrance porch to left hand with two-centred, chamfered arch.

Three first floor casement windows with flat arches and chamfered brick jambs. Two large ground floor three-light casement windows with similar arches. School to south, one storey. Bell turret in gable parapet. Central closed porch flanked by two transomed and mullioned stone windows with square-headed drip moulds.

Included for group value.
