Parish Church, very fine, Perpendicular, believed to be the work of Reginald Ely, master mason of King's College Chapel Cambridge.
Built while John Higham was vicar 1439-67; inscription above chancel arch 1464 for the completion of the nave roof.
House, early C17.
Timber-framed and plastered with brick foundations and C19 gault brick casing to east gable. Local brick ridge stack. Pantile roof. Two storeys, three unit plan with lobby entry. Three first floor and three ground floor casement windows and C19 panelled door.
Interior has sealed inglenook hearths, and stop-chamfered ceiling beams. Attic floor approached by original moveable ladder. Balustrade of splat balusters C18 illustrated in RCHM inventory.
Inn, mid C18 with early C19 assembly rooms added to north-east.
Painted local brick and white gault brick. Plain tile roof with parapet gables and original end stacks with red brick patterning. Slated hipped roof to assembly rooms. Two storeys and attics, symmetrical three 'bays'. Saw-tooth eaves cornice. Three casement dormer windows with segmental shaped leaded roofs.
House, early C18.
Clunch rear and gable walls, red brick west facing facade, painted. Plain tile roofs with end stacks and parapet gables. Two storeys with attics and basement, symmetrical three 'bay' facade. Rear wing. Sawtooth eaves cornice, band between floors and plinth. Three four-paned flush-framed hung sash windows in segmental arches and two similar windows flank closed porch, c.1920, with half-glazed door.
