Electrolysis Registration
Electrolysis is the practice of hair removal using a small probe to deliver an electrical current to individual hair roots.
If you wish to carry out the business of electrolysis you must be registered by the Council.
It is illegal to carry out Electrolysis without a licence.
Applicants will need to register both themselves and the premises where the Electrolysis will be carried out.
To offer skin-piercing treatments, including tattooing, acupuncture, electrolysis, ear and body piercing, both the person performing the treatment and the premises must be registered with East Cambridgeshire District Council..
Applications must include any information required by the local authority.
