The East Cambridgeshire Community Safety Partnership (members include Police, District and County Council, Fire Service, NHS, Probation and Housing Associations) works locally to reduce crime and the fear of crime.

The Council plays an active role in the East Cambridgeshire Community Safety Partnership, which was set up in 1998 to tackle crime in the district. This Partnership includes the Police, the County Council, the Primary Care Trust and the National Probation Service.
