Dance Island 2009
The Dance Island event will again be occurring in a field near Stuntney, during the night/early hours of the 4th/5th July and the telephone number to ring in the first instance if residents feel the noise is causing an unacceptable noise nuisance is 0797 6095583. This is the direct telephone number of the noise consultant responsible for monitoring noise levels during the all night event.

Swine Flu - Public Health Update
The World Health Organisation has raised its alert over the spread of Swine Flu to level five. East Cambridgeshire District Council continues to work closely with the health sector and other partners regarding the global Swine Flu outbreak

Masterplans
The District Council is undertaking a series of studies to develop masterplans for the City of Ely, and the market towns of Soham and Littleport, to help manage the rapid population and housing growth that is taking place in these areas.
A range of public activities and events for everyone to help plan for Ely's future are being planned to allow as many people as possible to be involved, and work has now started on the Soham Masterplan.
